OUR Story

Après Vous (ah-prey-voo) is a carryout eatery and retail shop located in San Francisco’s Parkside neighborhood. Led by French-trained chef, baker, and chocolatier Richard Chagniot, our team specializes in ready-to-serve restaurant quality food with contemporary European influences. The rotating, seasonal menu focuses on comfort meals that feature fresh, locally grown and sourced ingredients. Après Vous also offers full catering services and regularly hosts ticketed pop-up events on-site. 

Beyond prepared dishes, Après Vous boasts a curated shopping experience that includes emerging brands, small-batch goods, and imported epicurean items. Our dedication to supporting local artisans can be seen in our carefully chosen product selection, as well as our art and decor. 

Our name is a polite French phrase that means “after you.” in French. Our goal is to provide exceptional meals that are accessible, affordable and convenient. We want to elevate the perception of to-go food and serves our beloved community. These customer centric goals reflect co-owner Stan Gee's hospitality, restaurant, and corporate experiences at acclaimed San Francisco institutions including BIX, MarketBar, Florio, Rose’s Café, MY China, and Alembic.

Après Vous sits on the quiet corner of Taraval Street and 14th Avenue, centrally located between San Francisco’s Parkside, St. Francis Woods, and West Portal neighborhoods.
